Contributor's Guide
Are you interested in contributing a bylined article to HIPAAdvisory? Here's how to do it.
Feature Articles
Feature articles should run 500 to 1000 words, and may be accompanied by suitable illustrations (charts, graphs) that do not exceed 12 K in size. (gif format preferred) All articles must be free of vendor bias.
Before sending us an article, we strongly suggest you email or fax us a brief summary or outline. Tell us why you're qualified to write the article. If you like, you can phone us to discuss your idea.
All accepted articles or other contributions will be attributed to the author, and his or her organization if appropriate.
Case Studies
The HIPAAction section of HIPAAdvisory focuses on compliance assessment and implementation. Articles or reports on the compliance experiences of health-related organizations are welcome. Case studies should describe conditions prior to the compliance initiative, problems or issues that developed during the initiative, and the results.

Our HIPAAnews section welcomes feature stories or articles that cover new technology developments, research reports, studies, regulatory news, trends, association news, and more. Where appropriate, please submit items in the form of a news release and include the name and telephone number of an official source who can answer editorial questions and substantiate information.

HIPAAtech exists to provide the healthcare community with a greater knowledge of the growing world of technologies that address information security and privacy needs.
