California Information Exchange

An association of physician and hospital organizations, purchasers,
and health plans. CALINX agreements address many HIPAA transaction
sets and where relevant, all CALINX Data Guidelines are HIPAA compliant.
In some cases, CALINX goes further than HIPAA by documenting Rules
of Exchange.

Colorado Strategic National Implementation Process (CoSnip)

HIPAA's administrative simplification rules and regulations. CoSnip

Georgia Strategic Local Implementation Process (GSLIP)

The purpose of the Georgia Strategic Local Implementation Process
(GSLIP) is to enable representatives of public and private entities
affected by the HIPAA Administrative Simplification provisions to
work together in achieving compliance with the law in Georgia. GSLIP

documents, best practice initiatives and other tools that can be
used by members to facilitate compliance with HIPAA.

Michigan Health Information Management Association (MHMIA)

(MEHUG), the MN-HIPAA Implementation Workgroups, the HIPAA-Security
Task Force, and the Data Privacy Committee.

Created by the Minnesota State Legislature in 1993, MHDI is a nonprofit
public-private partnership dedicated to measuring and improving
the quality and efficiency of health care services in Minnesota.
Minnesota Center for Healthcare Electronic Commerce (MCHEC) (see
above) was established in 1998 as a result of the consolidation
of all electronic commerce projects underway at the Institute.
Minnesota HIPAA Collaborative
