HIPAAlert's Legal Q/A column began in March 2000, authored by Steve Fox, the leader of Pepper Hamilton LLP's healthcare informatics law practice. For over 4 1/2 years, Steve and his staff generously and unfailingly offered their take on HIPAA legal questions submitted by subscribers. But all good things must come to an end and in September 2004, HIPAA Law ceased publication in HIPAAlert.
