House Subcommittee Holds Hearing on HIPAA Privacy
Rule
March 22, 2001-- The House Energy and Commerce Health Subcommittee
held a hearing today entitled, "Assessing HIPAA: How Federal
Medical Record Privacy Regulations Can Be Improved."
The hearing held on March 22, 2001 was intended to focus on the
unintended consequences of the Health Insurance Portability and
Accountability Act’s (HIPAA) medical record privacy regulations.
