About Our Audio Conferences:
All that's needed to listen to the audio conferences is a phone.
A toll-free number will be provided to registrants so they may listen
at the advertised day and time. An internet connection is not required
during the conference but is necessary to download the conference
presentation slides. Presentation slides will be provided in Adobe
Acrobat (PDF), available for free download through the link below.
A PowerPoint version of the presentation material is available upon
request. We usually hold a forum on our web site where questions
may be asked after the conference.
Your online store is quick and convenient, but can we pay by
calling and giving you the information over the phone?
We prefer that you send payment with a purchase order or check
by filling out the Offline Order Form on our site, printing it,
and faxing or mailing it to us. Please note that payment for audio
conferences must be received prior
to the date of the conference. If paying offline, please allow sufficient
time for your payment to reach us.
Will we be able to attend the audio conference from several
different locations with a single fee?
We are billed per phone call, therefore, we must charge on a per-phone-call
basis. Each registration is for one phone call into the audio conference.
If you can 'conference' your different locations and then tie the
phone call into that audio conference, no problem. However, each
phone call into the toll-free audio conference phone number must
have its own registration. Multiple phone calls equal multiple registrations.
I ordered an audio conference, but I can't attend after all.
May I get a refund?
If you cancel your registration no later than 36 hours before
the audio conference, we will gladly issue you a refund.
We regret that cancellations for refund after this time cannot be
accepted. Since the registration is for one phone line and not a
specific person, you are welcome to forward the conference participation
information you receive to someone else in your organization who
may benefit from the audio conference.
May we utilize some of the slides in future HIPAA presentations
we may make?
We would be happy to authorize your use of a specific page or two
from the presentation, if you attribute the material to Phoenix
Health Systems and include our copyright. If this is the case, please
let us know which pages you wish to reprint/use. We hope you will
understand that we cannot authorize broader usage of the document,
as it is part of a set of proprietary Phoenix HIPAA education tools.
If you would like to contact Phoenix to present this seminar or
others in our HIPAA program, we would be happy to discuss how we
might work with you to meet your HIPAA education needs.
Do you give out press passes?
We don't often say yes because your attendance is a significant
cost to us considering the low price of the programs. For consideration
please email us with the publication title, the circulation, the
name of the publishing house, and any other details you deem significant.
When are tapes of the conferences available?
Audio cassettes of the conferences are generally available about
two weeks after the conference has taken place. Information on ordering
the tapes will be posted in our online store at that time. The corresponding
presentation is available for download to tape purchasers.
May we may make a copy of the audio conference tape?
The audio conference tapes are copyrighted works and may not be
copied for any reason. Like copyrighted books, you are free to lend
them to your coworkers or place it into a corporate library if you
have one. In the event that a tape fails, please return it to us
and we will be happy to replace it. However, the PDF/PowerPoint
presentations may be printed out for personal use.
